Wherever possible we will see you the same day at our practice on The Rock, in the heart of Bury town centre.
Diagnosis & Relief
Your dentist will examine you, take any X-rays needed and treat the cause of your pain wherever possible on the day.

With our in-house CEREC technology, a broken tooth or lost crown can often be permanently restored with a new ceramic crown or onlay in a single visit, with no temporaries and no weeks of waiting. If a tooth cannot be saved, we can talk you through long-term options such as dental implants, and our general dentistry team can help you stay out of trouble in future.

How quickly can I be seen?
We reserve time for emergency patients and will do everything possible to see you the same day. Call us as early in the day as you can on 0161 222 4840 to give us the best chance of fitting you in.
How much does an emergency dentist appointment cost?
Our emergency appointment is £75, which includes your examination, all necessary X-rays and treatment to relieve your immediate pain. If further treatment is needed, we will give you a clear plan and costs before anything goes ahead.
I’m not a registered patient. Can I still book?
Yes. New patients are always welcome for emergency appointments. You do not need to be registered with us. Many of our regular patients first came to us with an emergency.
What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?
Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root. If it is clean, try to place it gently back into the socket and bite on a clean cloth. If that is not possible, keep it in milk and call us straight away. The sooner a knocked-out adult tooth is seen, the better the chance of saving it.
What should I do outside opening hours?
If you need urgent dental care when the practice is closed, call NHS 111 for out-of-hours advice. If you have severe facial swelling affecting your vision or breathing, or uncontrollable bleeding, go to A&E. Otherwise, call us first thing and we will prioritise you.
